+ CATALYST MUSIC BUSINESS & ADVANCED SOUND DESIGN
PRODTSNOW.
As a producer under the name ProdTSnow, my work has accumulated over 8 million plays across record placements. My experience includes beat making, sampling, recording, arrangement, synthesis, and sound design.
START FROM ZERO.
Never opened a DAW before? No problem. A digital audio workstation (DAW) is the software used to record, create, edit, and produce music. I teach Ableton Live and FL Studio, helping students understand the tools and workflows needed to make their own music.
We’ll cover everything from navigating the software and setting up your first project to recording audio, using MIDI, working with plugins, programming drums, arranging songs, and exporting finished tracks.
QUESTIONS? WE’LL COVER THEM.
Learn the differences between Ableton Live and FL Studio, how each works, and which one best fits your goals.
Learn drum programming, MIDI, sequencing, tempo, rhythm, and arrangement to turn your ideas into complete tracks.
Learn how to find, record, chop, manipulate, pitch, stretch, and rearrange audio samples to create something new.
Understand virtual instruments, audio effects, synthesizers, and how to use them creatively in your productions.
No prior knowledge required. Learn scales, chords, melody, harmony, and rhythm through hands-on production exercises.
Explore EQ, compression, reverb, delay, gain staging, basic mixing, and techniques for creating cleaner, more balanced productions.
WHAT YOU’LL LEARN.
BUILD YOUR OWN SOUND.
Go beyond presets and learn how sounds are actually made. Explore oscillators, filters, envelopes, LFOs, modulation, and signal flow through both digital and hardware synthesizers.
Lessons are tailored to your experience, musical interests, and goals. Whether you want to understand your DAW, flip samples, build your own synth patches, or finish your first song, we’ll work directly on the skills you want to develop.
LOCK IN.
You don’t need expensive equipment or years of experience to start making music. Bring your ideas, your questions, and whatever experience you have. We’ll build from there.
